Badgers!

This week on the Varmints! podcast Paul and Donna discuss those feisty burrowing European and American badgers!

But first, the news!

Maine…

Badgers and coyotes have been frenemies since way before the word “frenemies” existed, bub. This odd couple is actually pretty interesting! Courtesy of fws.gov:

Not much audio or video about badgers for this week’s pop culture segment but there’s so much to read!

The Redwall series of books by Brian Jacques is utterly delightful for young and old alike. The Badger series of comic books are not necessarily for a younger audience but are still fun to look at.

We’ve got everything you ever wanted to know about Wisconsin and badgers and Bucky the mascot in this week’s episode.

Now you know a little more about badgers than you did this morning! What do you think of them? We want to hear from you! Send us your suggestions for animals you’d like to hear us talk about, or just drop us a line about anything at varmintspodcast@gmail.com! We might even read your email on the show.

Your feedback is always welcome!
