Our guest this week is Brian Durkin, stand-up comedian, producer, and podcaster.  He’s the man behind the Philadelphia-based comedy site Full Belly Laughs dot com. The website’s weekly podcast captures the fun times of friends eating a meal and playing board games. He mentors many other comedians on podcasting, as well as comedy writers in Philadelphia. PM Narendra Modi launches UPI based mobile payment app called BHIM

NEW DELHI: Urging people to make digital payments a “habit” to make the country a cashless economy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a mobile app for the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). The application, which will be common across all banks and financial institutions, is called BHIM (Bharat Interface for Mobile).

How Apple, Google, and Microsoft used each other’s app stores in 2016

For the last two years, we have examined how Apple, Google, and Microsoft develop apps for each others’ competing platforms. It’s time to take another look at their strategies, which of course align with their respective business models.

Apple last year released its first three Android apps for Google Play: Move to iOSBeats Pill+, and Apple Music. This number didn’t change in 2016, and neither did the fact that Apple continues to ignore the Windows Store. On its own platform, the company more than doubled its apps over the last year.
