DEA Warns of Stoned Rabbits!
Hey, man, you got any carrot flavored Doritos?
So, when someone says “they breed like rabbits” what exactly do they mean? They mean they make lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of babies. Varmints! podcast doesn’t have the space to put as many “and lots” in this sentence to reflect the reality. Check out this great article on how many bunnies a bunny can make. Wanna do it? It’s a commercial…
As promised here is a video of baby bunnies everywhere. Get your morning coffee or your evening Scotch and get ready to relax and be happy. Courtesy of YouTube User My BB Bunny.
Here’s a great chart showing the digestive system of the rabbit. Remember, cecotropes are not poops. They just look like poops. Also, it’s totally gross and we know that but you must let your bunny eat the cecotropes or it will get very sick. Courtesy of The Rabbit House.
So, Paul and Donna weren’t super impressed by the intelligence of domestic rabbits, but on reflection, maybe they should have been! Here’s a fun video of a rabbit called Champis, who learned to heard sheep from his lazy slacker friend of a Border Collie. Courtesy of YouTube user Gardsbacken.
Pop culture had plenty of great examples of rabbits for us this week. Here’s a couple great rabbits everyone knows and loves.
First, take a look at the The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” . This guy can only be killed by the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch so you better hope you have one in your junk drawer. Courtesy of YouTube user Monty Python.
Everyone on planet Earth knows and loves Bugs Bunny. Here’s a fun video of one of his musical escapades, courtesy of YouTube user Cartoon World.
So you want to show off some rabbits? Head on over to the American Rabbit Breeders Association website and find out how you can do just that!
That rabbit face that says “bring it”.
And here’s the judging form. If someone can explain “check inside legs for nasal discharge” to us that would be great.
